Compress an image to 100 KB.
Start with a 100 KB limit (100,000 bytes), or change the target to fit your needs. Your image stays on your device.
Preparing local engine…
Your limit, not a size to fill. 1 KB = 1,000 bytes; 1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes.
Your image stays here. Original photo metadata is removed.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Before you go.
What does the 100 KB limit mean?
100 KB means a maximum of 100,000 bytes, not an exact size to fill. You can change the target to another value from 1 to 10,000 KB.
What if my image cannot meet the target?
Some images cannot meet a small limit within the quality and dimension limits. Try a larger target or allow resizing. For a PNG, you can also choose JPEG; transparent areas will become white.
What happens to a PNG?
PNG stays PNG by default and keeps transparent areas. Color reduction may change details or gradients, so check the preview. Converting to JPEG is your choice.
Does the image leave my device?
The image is processed in your browser. Original photo metadata such as EXIF and GPS is removed from the output. The page and its processing code still need to load over the network; see the Privacy Policy.
